Simple as tacos

Just a quick post….

Decided that I wanted for us to have tacos for dinner instead of the traditional beans & fried chicken I learned growing up in New Orleans, but I’m always glued to my computer working so…

I reached out to a team member…my daughter!   She was off from school today, so I gave her the list (and of course the money) and sent her on her way to buy the ingredients.  Don’t you love when you have someone else you can count on?

When she came home, here was my opportunity to teach her how to make tacos (nope, she’s never made them before), but in the meantime, my husband comes in from work.   He decides he wants to “add a little something” and ends up getting her started while I wrap up work on the computer.

Of course it’s simple enough, just follow the directions, but we all made them together this time, now she knows how.

It may sound corny to some, but I don’t know why it would.   A family working together on simple everyday things is pretty cool to me.   Everyone just “pitches in” where they can.   Teamwork comes in all shapes and forms.
